Trump vents rage at firefighters union’s Biden endorsement with fascinating series of retweets

Donald Trump is not doing a good job hiding how nervous he is about former Vice President Joe Biden’s entry into the Democratic presidential primary. Trump spent Wednesday morning retweeting literally dozens of angry tweets about the International Association of Fire Fighters’ quick endorsement of Biden, an endorsement for which the union’s president told NBC News that they “conducted poll Dem, indie and non-party members (about 3/5ths of all members)” and “Biden was ‘overwhelming’ 1st pick, and almost unanimous 2nd choice of others.” But never mind that; Trump is outraged (and scared):

I’ve done more for Firefighters than this dues sucking union will ever do, and I get paid ZERO!

Many of the people Trump RT’d claimed to be firefighters—and some of them had past tweets that even looked like they might be telling the truth. Some of them may even be IAFF members! They are certainly welcome to disagree with their union’s endorsement. Others, on the other hand …

There are any number of generic MAGA types with Twitter feeds as charming as you would expect—PewDiePie, RTs of Jack Posobiec, “Build the wall,” and conspiracy theories about a global war on Christianity.

And then there’s this:

Let’s assume that screen name was not “Fuck Donald Trump” at the time he retweeted it. Well played!
